Understanding Our Proxy System

At its core, our proxy service is straightforward:

  1. We provide the proxy infrastructure - servers, IPs, and connection handling
  2. You manage your customers - through our reseller API
  3. Your customers use the proxies - by connecting through our endpoints

System Architecture Overview

Our system has four main components that work together:

  1. Your Customer - End users who need proxy services
  2. Your Reseller Platform - Your website/dashboard that manages customers
  3. Evomi Reseller API - Our API that you integrate with
  4. Evomi Proxy Servers - Our infrastructure that handles proxy connections

The flow works like this:

  • Your Customer connects to your platform to manage their account
  • Your platform manages customer accounts through our Reseller API
  • Your customer uses proxies by connecting directly to our proxy servers
  • Our API controls access & balance for all proxy connections

Key Concepts to Understand

  1. Balance System: We operate on a balance system. You purchase balance (data, time, or threads) and allocate it to your customers.

  2. No Proxy Generation API: Unlike other providers, we don't have an API endpoint to "generate" proxies. Instead, proxies are constructed using:

    • Fixed endpoints (e.g., rp.evomi.com)
    • Standard ports (e.g., 1000 for HTTP)
    • User credentials (username + password with optional parameters)

  3. Proxy Configuration via Password: The proxy password can be modified with parameters to change behavior (country, session, etc.).

  4. Simple Proxy Format: All proxies follow this format:

    username:password@endpoint:port

  5. Fixed Infrastructure: Our endpoints and ports are fixed - you don't need to set up any proxy servers.
